ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography is not simply my way of recording the world; it is my way of encountering it. It is both a spiritual practice and a creative endeavor.
With no gear except for my hand held camera I go out in my everyday world to discover and capture pockets of beauty. I strive to transform ordinary views into contemplative works of art that will remind viewers that in the midst of our messy lives we can find signs of hope and grace in unlikely places.
