ARTIST STATEMENT
I want to create contemplative images that remind viewers that beauty and grace are always nearby - overlooked, hidden or forgotten - within our ordinary everyday worlds.
I hope my work is an invitation: to pause and behold. Wherever we are in the moment To look closely, and to remain open to what cannot be fully explained. Make room for a little mystery and magic. Photography is not simply my way of recording the world, but a way of encountering it. It is not just a craft or artistic endeavor, it is a spiritual practice.
At a time when grace is what the world seems to lack most, I offer my own glimpses of grace - seen and unseen - from my ordinary life.
